Will David Tennant be involved in the Doctor Who 50th anniversary celebrations next year? Will there be a special episode bringing together his Tenth Doctor and one or more of the others? Of course, Tennant won’t say.
But he has dropped a hint, telling an American interviewer that his trademark pin-striped suit is primed and ready to go, should he be called upon to don it once more.
Guesting on live US series Attack of the Show!, Tennant said of potential 50th anniversary plans “I cannot be drawn on anything. Who knows what will happen next year? I’m sure there are lots of plans being discussed in quiet rooms by men with long beards and grey hair.
“I’m not confirming or denying anything.”
But when asked whether he still had the Doctor’s suit, Tennant replied “I do have it in a very secure location, yes.
“I have one of everything that I wore [on Doctor Who] in hermetically sealed suit bags, squirreled away somewhere - I hope the moths haven’t got in.”

Doctor Who Tumblr hits 100,000 followers, Matt Smith says congrats, and everything is perfect.
Go watch the video above. You know, the one we’ve titled ‘DOCTOR WHO TUMBLR YAY EVERYBODY WE REACHED 100,000 FOLLOWERS NOW HERE’S A WORD FROM MATT!’
Ok. Now we can finally say it:
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
A year ago we started this Tumblr to celebrate our favorite reblogged Doctor Who fan art, fan posts, gifs, news, and other wibbly wobbly tumblry wumblry stuff. Yes, we’re an official blog but as you can tell, we’re a little different.
That’s because we’re *your* official blog. The Doctor Who Tumblr is the show as seen through your eyes.
It’s fueled by your love for the Doctor, Amy, Rory, River, Ten, Nine, Donna, Rose, Martha, Sarah Jane, Captain Jack, Sue from Catering, the TARDIS, Classic Who, twelve Jammie Dodgers and a fez.
It’s every character and every story and every relationship and everyone who’s involved in this show that makes this thing the thing that it is.
As Matt Smith once said, the show is much bigger than just him or Karen or Arthur or Moffat or Caro (or just Tennant or Baker for that matter)…. That’s because the show is made up of all of us — from the people who make the show in Cardiff to the people who meet online and irl worldwide to share their love of Doctor Who.
And that’s why we’ve always said that the Doctor Who Tumblr is your tumblr. These are your posts and these are your 100,000 followers.
So congrats! Now let’s have the Tumblr version of a PARTY!
First: we need decorations! So we asked the AMAZING gif artist that is lulinternet to create a new gif for us:
Awesome, right?
So we took that and made a badge for you to put on your sidebar (you will love it on your blagh!), you know, in case you want to tell everyone else:
And what else… oh yeah! Gifts! As a thank you, we’re sending a prize pack of Doctor Who stuff (thank you BBCAmericaShop.com!) to our 100,000th follower, because, you know, they were lucky and that’s what you do for the lucky 100,000th follower.
But because we also appreciate loyalty, we’re giving a prize pack away to our very *first* follower as well. Because, you know, that’s how we roll.
So that’s about it. Sparknotes version: 100k followers, Matt smouldering on camera, awesome gif art, and gifts for being here with us. Also, while Huck is in moral conflict with the received values of the society in which he lives, he ultimately learns that there is nothing more important than friendship. (bad sparknotes joke is
badterrible)
We know there are Tumblr blogs with more followers (we’re looking at you, Beyoncé)…
…and tumblr blogs that post nothing but 10k notes…
… but we are so incredibly incredibly proud of this because it is about you and you truly are the greatest fandom ever.
Thanks for following.

David Tennant Returns to BBC AMERICA with Janet Mongomery in Dramaville’s The Spies of Warsaw
From today’s announcement:
BBC AMERICA is co-producing a new mini-series for Dramaville based on Alan Furst’s acclaimed novel, The Spies of Warsaw, adapted by renowned Emmy®-winning writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais. David Tennant (Doctor Who, Fright Night, Hamlet, Casanova) and Janet Montgomery (Black Swan, Entourage) will star in the thrilling spy story set in Poland, Paris, London and Berlin in the years leading up to the Second World War. The mini-series will premiere in the US as part of BBC AMERICA’s Dramaville programming block.
Yay! Oohhh, when I first heard about this from the BBC, I wasn’t sure if the US would get it…..obviously the DW people did a brilliant job of informing me that I will be able to watch! Ahahaha! Hurrah!

Here’s the very first photo of Matt, Arthur, and Karen on set and in costume for Doctor Who Series 7!
Click the pic above to confirm their adorableness in high res.
There will be more Behind-the-Scenes from Doctor Who in the coming weeks thanks to the fine folks in Cardiff, so follow Doctor Who Official on Tumblr if you care about these things. If you don’t, we’ll assume that you’re probably a Cyberman and that you hate things like goodness and puppies.
Yay yay yay yay yay yay!

We’re all stories in the end.
Click through for full size, it’s important. I love telling stories about Doctor Who, so I figured I’d go with some of the show’s most quotable moments. The quotes I used are here.
Brilliant/fantastic/swanky/other adjectives I can not think of right now. Congratulations on your brilliant incorporation of quotes photo-picture! Hurrah!
